Firestorm: Stripes

Flo placed his Cobras, 4x M1, mech. inf., his Vulcans and the ITVs.

I decided to push hard on one side and placed all my T-72 on my left. The Mot. Schützen should dash on the road to reach the opposite objective.

Turn 1:
My T-72 drove Forward to shoot at the vulcans. The BMPs road dashed towards the objective. My Shilkas started first and shot down one Cobra. Then my Spandrels (rolling a six, followed by a five) also destroyed one cobra. My T-72 killed two vulcans. Very good start...

Flo revealed his M1 ambush Shooting at the T-72 in the field, killing three. The Dragon Missiles, which were fired from the house, missed my Shilkas. Also the ITVs missed the T-72. Finally the Cobras killed one Shilka.

Turn 2:
My Mot. Schützen quickly disembarked from their BMPs. The Hinds also moved Forward killing the ITV's with very aimed Missile fire. The Shilkas missed the Cobras and the T-72 the M1. Not good...

The Cobras returned fire to the Shilkas, but just bailed one. One Dragon Missile found the target and one Shilka exploded. The M1 killed three T-72.

Turn 3:

The T-72 and Shilkas concentrated their AA fire but missed the Cobras. The rest of my T-72 bailed one M1. My BMPs went into offensive and destroyed the last 2 Vulcans and one M113. Then it was time for my Hinds to attack the M1. But... but... they were both shot down with AA fire... wtf!??!

Flo brought his M1 and M106 from reserve . Flos Mech. platoon and M113 destroyed 2 BMP. The fresh M1 platoon killed another 4. The other M1s destroyed 1 T72 and bailed another one.

Turn 4:
My infantery dug in at the objective. My 2S1 had a direct line of sight to the M106, ranging in on the first attempt and destroying two. My T-72 managed to kill two M1 with side shots. The BMP killed another M113.

The US infantery missed with every weapon on the BMPs, but bailed one T-72 with a Dragon Missile. The Cobra killed one T-72. Then the M1 platoon destroyed another 2 T-72, bailing one. The single M106 pinned the infantery and the M1 charged them, killing 6 Teams. My NVA soldiers fell back.

Turn 5:

The shilkas did not manage to hit the Cobras again. My T-72 fired on the M1 and killed them completely.

The Cobras killed two T-72 and I did not succeed with my morale test. Arghh. The M1 shots bounced from my T-72s.

Turn 6:

My BMPs killed the last M113. The Spandrels did no damage to the M1. The T-72 fired their big cannons into the house, killing two Teams. As the M1 were closing in I decided to attack the mech. platoon in the house with my T-72 (that was a very bad idea...)! One got bogged down. Then I destroyed just one Team. The US killed one and bailed another with their LAW. My tanks attacked again, but did not do any damage. Then the US killed one more, and bailed another. I killed one Team, but always they decided not to leave. Another T-72 burst into Flames and the last one moved away. What the hell... I rolled 5 ones in this fight... I gave up, because I did not had any Chance to win this fight.
