Firestorm: Stripes

I decided to have my one T-72M Company in ambush, the Shilkas, BMP Inf., Spandrels and the SU's also started from the beginning. The rest was Held in reserve.

Turn 1:
Flo pushed his US Boys very agressively Forward. Due to night fighting there was no Shooting at all.

I also kept quiet. No reserves arrived.

Turn 2:

Again the US pushed Forward with every unit, expect the ITVs. The M109 smoked my Position.

This turn my first reserve arrived. I brought my other T-72M Company on the field. Also my SU-25 arrived. I revealed my ambush and pushed Forward towards the Stinger Humvees, destroying two. My SU-25 destroyed both ITV platoons. So much luck for me...

Turn 3:

Flo now carefully moved his towards my Position. The M1 opened up on the BMPs, destroying 4. The one MEch. Platoon pushed through the village and fired on my Mot. Schützen without effect. The M109 ranged in on my Infantery. Although they shot bomblets, nothing happened.

This turn I rolled again very good for reserves. My two companies of T-55 with command arrived. Also my SU-25 were back in Action again. My SUs destroyed one M1 and my Infantery destroyed 1x M113 and bailed two. The Mech. Platoon was pinnend.

Turn 4:
Flo got his A10 on the battlefield... ouch. But my Shilkas were in a good Position. They killed two approaching A10. The last two A10 managed to destroy one T-72 and bailing another two. Then the Mech platoon and the M1 attacked my infantery. It was very bloody and I lost 8 Teams. Flo only lost two infantery Teams. I decided to fall back.

My infantery unpinned and went into offensive against the Mech. Platoon which was Holding the objective now. My BMPs and AK-47 Teams opened up on the US Boys, killing 4 Teams. My T-72 killed two ITVs. My Spandrels took out another M1 and bailing one. Flo role succesfull for morale. Then my infantery attacked the mech Team wipping it out completely.

Turn 5:

Flo got his A10 again. The A10, ITVs and M109 destroyed 3 T-72 and bailing another one. Then the Vulcans opened up on my infantery and destroyed them completely.

It was getting day now. Unfortunately my SUs didnt Show up. My Shooting was very bad this turn. I just destroyed two M113 and two Teams from the second mech platoon.

Turn 6:
Flo's mech platoon was forced to cross the minefield while embarking. One Team was destroyed. The M109s copperheads destroyed my one T-72 Company and the remaining two M1 destroyed one of my T-55 companies.

This time my SUs arrived again. They killed the remaining M1s. My Spandrels and T72 killed three Vulcans. My Shilkas pushed also Forward killing 2 Mech. Teams.

Turn 7:

FLo killed three Shilkas with Copperheads and the remaining one was killed by the ITVs.

My SUs arrived again. Lucky one. The T-72 finished the last vulcan and the SUs destroyed the ITVs with cannon fire. Only his last mech. platoon with CC kept Flo in the game.

Turn 8:

The A10 came for a last flight, destroying 1 T-55. The M109 finished of the rest killing three with Copperheads.

My last T-55 Company finished off his last MEch platoon and his CC. So Flo automatically lost.

Hard fought victroy. I lost 24 tanks and 22 infantery Teams in this bloody battle. But the NVA succeeded!!!
