Three armies eagerly moved towards 1 goal: an overpass perfectly situated on the outskirts of town (or right in the middle of the board!). Inspired by the King of the Hill battle report on the Team Yankee website, 3 friends decided to play a 50 point a side game to take the objective in the center of the board, last army standing or taking the objective wins the game.
Over the first few turns, all three armies maneuvered into better positions. The British swept towards the town, careful to stay out of range or LOS of the T72s and Abrams tanks. A lucky turn of shooting found 4 Cobras burning as well as several T-55s. The BTR Company, while damaged was firmly entrenched on the objective, only 4 brave American HMMWV kept the objective contested....
While the British Swept towards the objective, the last remaining T-55s bravely rolled dice like it was their final act of the day... All passed their bogging checks and rolled forward and fired 1 shot a piece on the move at concealed Chieftains and... BOOM! The horror of loosing 2 brave Chieftains to the brave T-55s... the remaining Chieftains made short work of the T-55s (I must say those T-55 tankers deserve a medal for their brilliant shooting!).
Despite the brave actions of the people's T-55s, the tide of the British army could not be stopped and within a few turns, the remaining troops of the BRT company were slowly removed from their positions on the overpass. Final victory for the British!
P.S. I would also like to make mention of the incredible shooting by the last remaining 2 tanks of the T72 company who bravely crossed the highway median, utilized their stabilizers and rolled 2 6's after driving past the flank of the Abrams to eliminate the deadly unit of American tanks.
P.P.S. This game type was a blast as it was quite different from the traditional line of battle. I would recommend this for anyone looking for an out-of -the-box game.
Really interesting battle idea, I was eager to read a lot about this one but there wasn’t many details unfortunately. Would love to read more.

Congrats on your first win, and in a theatre where we really need it! Those boys deserve a paint job, though!
