The glorious 9th Panzer Division with T-72 leader, two kompanies of 3 T-72, medium BMP1 kompanie, four Shilkas and four Mi-24 Krokodiles with Air Assault company in support.
The Brits fielding two infantry platoons, three Chieftains, four Scorpions, four Harriers, two Rapiers and Iron Maiden Billboard.
The Objectives were placed in the centre - breaking the line - and one behind - cutting them off - with the Brits digging in there infantry at the frontline with Chieftains hiding in the treeline. Scorpions nowhere to be seen.
I had decided beforehand that I was going to play aggressive and Aggressive it was going to be! The BMP's should rush forward no matter what and aim for the rear objective while the panzer force should dig up the British infantry at the front objective.
As all axis of attacks had failed I put everything rushing onto the frontline objective in an attempt to force a draw.
This is my third battle and first time engaging Major Beavers Brits, Damn they are tough!
It was an awesome fight! My plan to play super aggressive could have worked if he had rolled a little differently (just the first reinforcement roll would have been enough) but I had great fun trying this playstyle. And so many good moments in this game, Hinds dropping in, Chieftains deciding on what to shoot and where to be, Scorpion decimation by T-72 volley, to name just a few.
I must commend Major Beaver on great terrain (the table was made the day before just so we could play!) and beautifully painted army, thanks again for a great battle evening, maybe I'll get you next time ;)
very nicely done report, too bad on the loss

By all means, keep sacrificing your WTO troops on Dutch soil! Congrats, Beaver, on showing the REDs how it is done!
