The Lord Tadcaster
The BMP scouts had reported that the British had holed up on the outskirts of Hanover. There was no time to waste. The rest of the T-64 company would have to join the battle as it unfolded. It was time to press the attack.
Tadcaster and I played a 64 point game with my glorious T-64’s trying to dislodge his plucky Brits.
With the help of the scouts the entire Soviet forces masses towards one objective. Leaving the other unguarded but hoping the stragglers could hold the ground.
Infantry and their BMP-2's come in on the first turn. They will dig in a guard against a sneaky counter attack.
T-64s move forward to close the distance in order to try and negate Milan fire. The platoon would pay a heavy price.
The first T-64s lose two of their comrades to missile fire. They remaining tankers hold their nerve. The Shilkas moved up and combined with the other T-64's eliminated some infantry.
The Soviet Commander urges all forces forward. Desperately the British commander has to move his vehicles forward fearing the infantry are about to lose the objective,
The T-64's make short work of the vehicles while the Shilkas pin and destroy a few more infantrymen. The brave tankers assault and force the British to fall back. They are still holding the objective with reserves on the way.
T-64s and Shilkas brace for return fire. Luckily for the Soviet commanders British reserves showed up on the wrong side of the battlefield.
Knowing that their flank is crumbling the Brits get out of their holes and sprint towards the objective. With only a small platoon to hold the Soviets need to move quickly.
The final push the tankers bravely crush the imperialist under foot. Knowing they fight for an exploitative corrupt government the soldiers flee leaving the objective in Soviet hands.I have played against Tadcaster enough to know that British infantry are a huge pain to dig out. My play was to pick a side and smash forward knowing I would lose stuff going forward. He got unlucky with some missiles and I was really loving the extra armor on the T-64. If he has been able to hold a turn or two more my small BMP platoon wouldn't have been able to withstand his infantry assault. Excellent game as always!

That’s unfortunate, it seems like the lists were a bit of a mismatch. I went to check what Tasdcaster brought but the document you’ve uploaded is for a West German list.

Why move the missel tracks from cover instead of the scout platoon to cover the objective! On the other side move at cross country with both scout and APC, and add the Helo assualt there. There wasn’t enough on the Russian flank to hold.
The British can be a very effective attack force. We’re there any british tanks or was this a recco squadron with divional support?
Recco are very hard pressed to win against the T-64
