Hard Fight at Vorwerk
100 POINTSHQ has ordered the East Germans to attack and hold the town of Vorwerk. The East German commander also is ordered to take and hold the high ground just northwest of the town as well. The West Germans are not about to give that ground without a fight.
Turn 2 West Germas draw first blood as the Jag 1s KIA 1 T72M and bail another. The Leo 1s KIA 2 T72M .
The East Germans in their turn KIA 3 Leo 1s.
Turn 3. The Jag 1s KIA a T55 and a T72 and pass their shoot and scoot test. The scouts fall back. The lone Leo 1 rolls a 1 failing his morale. The remaining Leo1s fall back and nails another T55. The Milan on the marder bails a T55 and an infantry team with a Faust KIAs another T55.
The East Germans Kia a marder with a T72 and 1 west German infantry team is eliminated. BMP2S move into the town.
Turn 4. Another T55 KIA by the marder Milan team. That pesky infantry team fires and nails another T55. The marders have stayed to long though and are perfect targets.
And the East Germans miss the marder. Rolling 2 1s!!!!!!. The BMPs do eliminate another infantry team. The remaining team will not surrender.
Turn 5. Time for the marder to scram. The Leo1s and a platoon of Leo2s move up to cover their withdrawal. The Leo 1s KIA 1 T55. The Leo2s have no shots yet. Infantry team fails to hit a BMP2.
The T55 s manage to KIA a leo1. And fail to hit the infantry team.
Turn 6. The remaining Leo 1 rolls a 2 and goes home to watch cartoons. The Leo2s crush 3 T55 s. The Leo2s on the hill KIA 2 T72s and the West German CO destroys 2 more.
The East Germans finally have position and use flank shots to KIA 3 Leo2s. The last infantry unit is eliminated and the town is in the hands of the East German infantry.

Did I read it right that your opponent had chooses to mount his Milan’s on the Marders ? How did that work out generally ? I have the impression that it’s better to have the Milan’s as infantry teams, not mounted on the Marders.
Bayankhan-the naval fights went fairly well, The attack on Norway did well as did the attack on Keflavik. Although the Russians were really unable to really damage the US carrier battlegroups. And little by little we were rolled back until we are where we are at now. Holding in on to Norway and the sea around it and defending our coasts. Keflavik was retaken and we were able to damage some convoys-The Frunze and it’s group managed to intercept a Canadian troop convoy and really put the hurting on it. Bombers did some damage to a US convoy or 2 as well. But the losses were very high.

Congrats on the win, try to rotate the images first, but I remember having that issue before as well. Yeah Leo 1’s need to keep moving, but it has a great gun!

I was surprised at how effective the Leopard 1 can be. But it needs to move out of danger quickly due to its low armor value.
