Over Easter Conquest Games Convention in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia hosted the Victorian Team Yankee Championship, TO'd by myself, General Leadgend. Ten players turned up for 4 rounds of Team Yankee.
LordT, Comrade Nigel and Comrade Ian used Soviets.
GJH and General Darcy used British
Tyler_MK and General Rodney used West Germans
General Adam, General POTUS and General Alex used US
My Bye army was East German.
This report is for the Red on Blue games in the event as a whole, some of the individual games (including blue on blue) have also been entered into the campaign separately.
Round 1 saw the three soviet players each facing a different NATO faction with the remaining NATO players had to play their fellow NATO allies.
LordT took on General Darcy, Comrade Ian faced General Adam and Comrade Nigel played Tyler_MK.
Two of the Soviet Players won while the third had a mutual loss.
This opened the Pact:NATO win loss record as 2:0 to the Pact.
Round 2 saw the two winning Soviet players facing each other while Comrade Ian matched up with Tyler_MK and won.
That's now 3:0 to the Pact!
Round 3 saw the Soviets again matched up with NATO, this time LordT against General POTUS, Comrade Ian verses GJH and Comrade Nigel took on General Darcy. LordT won his game while the other two had mutual losses.
NATO was still without a win against the PACT, the win loss ratio now at 4:0.
Round 4 saw a dropout by General POTUS who had to leave and couldn't make it back in time for the final round. Thus my bye army got a game!
With the Soviets doing well there was another red on red matchup while Comrade Nigel played General Rodney. My East German Bye army got to play General Darcy who had been waiting for General POTUS to return. Both of us Pact players won so the final win loss ration was 6:0! In addition the two Soviet players LordT and Comrade Ian were vying for tournament victory and had a tight game producing the eventual winner of the tournament.
When I went to write this up I was expecting the Pact to come out on top as the winner was Soviet but when I went through all the results I was amazed to find there were NO Nato wins against the Pact!
I did tell the players before we started the tournament to write up their Red v’s Blue games for the campaign but only a few games have been written up and most of them blue on blue. 🙁

Of course it is a socialist win,
Well what do you expect against western decadence 😉
A very different – but very good! – report… Your MVD contingent should have wrung battle reports out of each game in each round… 😉
Way to go…
Congratulations comrade. Well played.
That looks like a lot of fun. Congrats to team red.
good tournament
